Scano family

I have four wonderful children and two amazing grandchildren. My daughter Angie danced in Ballet West as a professional ballerina. She married Heinz who is a world famous ballroom dancer and the winner of Star Search. Heinz is a very successful businessman. They have two children, Cruz and Alessia and one more on the way. Cruz and Alessia are gorgeous and smart and talented and the joy of our lives. John is working on a degree in business. He served a two year mission to Santa Maria, Brazil. John is a car salesman and in charge of internet sales at St. George Ford. Nick married a darling girl named Lindsey and is attending the Marriott school of business at BYU. He served a two year mission to Winnipeg, Canada. Lindsey is a spunky, darling girl who is studying culinary arts. Katie is a songwriter and singer attending BYU studying to be a high school math teacher and soccer coach.

I began a teaching position at Snow Canyon High School in the Special Education Department two years ago. I love Special Education. In the beginning I believed that Special Education was just a springboard to another teaching position and to tell you the truth the Special Education students scared me. But after two years working with these wonderful, resilient, yet still frustrating children I am sold on Special Ed. and plan on being here until I retire.

In my spare time (not that I will have much of that for the next two years) I love to research family history. I have been working on family history for about 10 years. It has led me across the oceans to a wonderful country named Poland. I was able to travel to Europe and see the homeland of my grandparents two years ago with my 16-year-old daughter. The most life-changing place we visited was the concentration camp of Auschwitz. I am planning another visit after I finish my degree.

Family is everything to me and I have the best in the world!

Ciao, Becky
